Barbell Hack Squat Vs Front Squat

Which (if you had to pick just 1 to do forever) would you pick out of the following exercises? I know there are such things as the famous back squat but I just need to know which of the following are better.

I know that BB Hack Squats are good because I did them last week and they hit my quads hard.

    Thumbs up Front Squats

I've never done BB Hacks but the movement looks pretty unnatural and would make heavier weights harder to push unless your form goes down the crapper.
Front Squats keep your back straight and allow no room for cheating. Better range of motion too

BB Hack Squats are real hard to stabalize yourself. I would stick with Front Squats, it's easier to perform.

With front squats, you can go deeper, so if I had to choose ONE, I'd go with front squats, just because they're amazing anyhow . Although I did both barbell hacks and fronts yesterday....daaaaayum are my quads and hams sore today

    -Bench- 115 goal 135

i always do the hack squats. for one simple reason really, I dont have a squat rack. SO, there is no way for me to get the weight up to where it needs to be for me to perform the movement.

hack squats will hit ur quads hard. And yes, they are very difficult and dangerous if done wrong. Unless u have really long arms, which i do NOT, they will be very hard to do without somewhat curving ur back when ur going up.

if u decide to try the hack squats more, follow this advice : grab the bar as wide as u can while still feeling comfertable with the weight. grab it with the over hand/ under hand grip as you would do in a deadlift. And for gods sake, keep ur abs tight. - once, i didnt and i couldnt stabilize myself and i droped the weight, it slide really hard down my calfs and i got some skin tears there now. That hurt like a bit*h.

anyway, about the advice - im just saying from what i've learned by doing them for the past 5-6 months.

    happy lifting

    take care
    Hehehehe Hahahaha Whohohohoh

Just throwin some logic in there.
