How much weight should I use?

When I perform an exercise, for example barbell curls, I use a weight that's heavy enough for me to do 6 - 8 reps for 1 set. However, after I finish my set and rest for 1-2 minutes and start my second set I can only do about 5. I try to use perfect form for every rep. Should I lower my overall weight that I am lifting? or what else can I do?

    thanks

My personal opinion is....if you are getting more than 4 reps with that weight, then don't go down. Just MY opinion tho.

    atleats 8reps??

    lol, lol

biceps respond best to heavy weight with 110% proper form. As soon as you start swaying or what not, you might as well quit.

I stick in the 4-6rep range. NO MORE than 8reps though
