    Cool Big 'popeye' Forearms!

    Simple. People don't train them often enough. I train mine 3 times a week+ and they have grown to just short of 15''.

    EXERCISES YOU JUST NEED TO DO:

    1. www.ironmind.com - Captains of Crush grippers

    2. Reverse barbell bicep curls

    3. Hammer curls across the chest

    4. Wrist curls (loads!) Start with low reps high weight and finish off with high reps (20-30), light weight.

    Make a wrist roller

    The wrist roller is a legend for building up forearms! www.ironmind.com sells these. Have a look at one, and see if you can make one of your own by looking at it!

    Wouldn't it be wiser to get an Ivanko Supergripper as opposed to the COC grippers as long as your goal isn't to become a certified captain of crush?

    No, I have the Ivanko gripper aswell, I just don't get on with it so well though!

    the COCs just fit into your hand nicely and they are portable - they also give you a goal to work towards, for example, I'm working towards #3 right now. I love them!

    The forearm is CERTAINLY NOT PUSHED UP AGAINST MY SIDE. You can see that CLEARLY, can't you. Maybe the camera angle makes you think the upper arm is, but I can assure you it isn't.

    And you can't set goals with the Ivanko Supergripper? You can set a lot more goals with it than the COC? Granted, it is larger, but it is easily portable, and although it is a bit slippery tape can cure that problem easily.

    I see what you mean, but the CoCs, like you said earlier, are a well known mark of hand strength. I've yet to meet a bodybuilder/strongman, anything who doesn't know about the #3 and how hard it is.

    Bump to wrist roller guys! I've just recently began using a wrist roller and it's amazing how good it works those forearms, great burn feeling and noticable gains. Combined with other forearm workouts it's a winner!

    forearms are majorly genetic, yes u can help them along with lifting... but in general most ppl with big forearms just have the good forearm genetics, nothing superior in their training.
