new experience while cleaning- is this common?

Trying forever to get this hook grip to work and keeping my arms straight today- I straigtened out as usual (triple extension) but instead of feeling my arms pulling the bar to my shoulders- my grip felt loose and the bar was spinning inside my hand.

Luckily my shoulders glided into place, caught the bar in a good spot, and left me wondering what I just did?
