I usually don't knock anyone's lifting attire but I am gonna break my own rule.
There was this little short fat guy with glasses in the gym when I got there this morning and he was decked out.
Some sports clothes dealer must have made a weeks worth off commission just of this guy.
You could tell he had never been in a weight room before because he was carrying his little sheet around as he went from machine to machine doing his by the numbers workout.
He didn't lift much but man he looked good not doing it.
Here is what he was wearing and remember it was all brand new and all in black.
1. A nike sweatband
2. House of pain rag-top
3. Balloon pants
4. A powerlifting weight belt, The wide one.
5. Black Lifting straps that he kept on all the time even though he never touched anything that he needed to strap.
6. Ottomix weight lifting shoes.
He made me feel so bad that I tucked in the string on my sweat pants then tried to clean up the combat boots that I wear by buffing the toes on the back of my pants.
Can't wait to see what he wears for his next workout. I just know it's gonna be something special..

Hmmmm...maybe if you were to show him the ropes and help him get started on a really solid workout program he might hook you up so you could have some really boss gear for cheap like that.
At least he's trying, which is more than 80% of the population does. Not trying to rain on your post at all. Just giving an alternate viewpoint is all.

You can make that 3... If thys guy carries a notebook or journal from machine to machine... it's possible you could learn somethyng from him... All the experienced people hit the gym with a plan and having a journal is the best way to see gains over a long period of tyme as well as notycing if you are at a plateau on a certain exercyse...Originally Posted by Nachureboy

The dude at my gym was wearing a muscle tee, but on-backwards. It's one of those that have a narrow back, so when it went on his front you could see his nipples 100% of the time. He didn't look like a guy who works out so it was gross. I'm convinced he didn't know how to wear it.
