Question splitting workouts between morning and evening ok?

between work, school and other things, i dont have the time i used to to work out. is it ok to some in the mourning and some in the evening? i was thinking about lifting in the morning before school, and then later after i get home from work doing my ab workout, is this ok? on monday i chest, shoulders, and triceps, and wednsday i do biceps, forearms, back, and, abs, and friday i do legs and abs. it takes me almost 45 minutes to finish my ab workout, then i start the other muscle group, by the time i am done it takes me almost an hour and a half to finish everything. if i could do the abs later on in the evening it would help out a lot with time. but if you guys think its a bad idea i wont do it.
