Hey Hogship
I have the same multi-station but mine is the G6B which is basically the same except for the round tubes. Do you like it? I found that the only thing is that for tall people its harder to have the proper spacing of the arms when doing a press!

Meister......
I've had my Body Solid EXM1550EPS for 14mo now.....and I just can't see myself without it......Yes, I really do like it a lot. I've made much physical progress using this machine.
I'm 5'9", and am more of average height.....when I do bench press, the seat is in the bottom hole. Although, I'm gripping the handles at the very bottom and probably could raise the seat comfortably a hole or two, this is perfect for me....but, I can see how someone who's length from the waist to shoulders is significantly longer than me, might have a problem with getting the handles at the proper height. In my case, since there is useabe space at the upper portion of the grip handles, I'd think someone up to 6' or 6'1" ought to be ok......I think.
I did have to widen the grip handles on the leg press. It would have been ok for someone with narrower shoulders than myself.
I guess it's hard to design a cable multi-station machine to fit everyone's body type. Anyone thinking about getting one would be far better off to try it out before putting cash on the table.....I did, as there was a floor model for me to check out prior to purchase.....but, I suppose, that's not realistic for everyone because many have to purchase sight unseen prior to delivery.
There are many who feel the free weights are far superior to cable or leverage machines.....but, I'm going to disagree. I've seen major personal progress with mine. One thing is for sure, the cable and leverage systems are a lot safer to use. Anyone who works out alone ought to give that heavy consideration.

anyone know where to get floor mats for a good price. I want to cover my gym which is about 10feet wide by 15 feet long. I want a rubbery feel that s at least 1 1/2 inches thich.
Those puzzle pieces are fine but they're like $24 for 2x10

There's no Ironmaster bench in those pics, but the one he has does kind of look like it though because of the way it adjusts.

thats a golds gym xr25 i think i got it for like 140 on sale at sports authority. i plan to get rid of this eventually and get the adjustable parabody one though
the rack is the parabody rack with the latt attachment which was like 800 total
then i have the powertec db rack and plate rack which were like 250 total
a 300lb cap barbell set
250lbs of standard weight by weider
15-55s of hex dbs except for 20lb ones, those were like 350 total i just bought them when i needed them, ineed heavier now but i have no more room on my rack and usualy go to the gym anyways. they used to be 50 cents a pound, but they raised them to like 65 cents a pound now so some were cheap and some were expensive
then i have a trimline treadmill which my parents bought which was liek 2grand
then i ahve a bunch of foam flooring from walmart

Popeye -
Sorry about the late response...
I will take some more pics of the unit in different positions tonight. I can't answer all the questions right now, but i will get to them tongiht.
About the squat thing, I bought this unit as a floor model and the excersize delivery people forgot to deliver a few pieces....
the squat bar attachment, the padded leg holder for doing lats (hard to see), and the correct preacher curl attachment,....
needless to say, they are delivering those pieces soon, i hope....
anyways, that is a negative about the place i ordered it from not Powertec...
I am 6-2 , 270# and I can use all the stuff on this thing. I love it so far. Coupled with dumbells and an olympic bar and about 400# in weights it is all good.

I have the Powerblocks Pro-handles (recently ordered the expansion 8-11 kit so I can go up to 130 lbs each). Saves a ton of weight and room considering I already have lots of 45 lb plates for my leg press/hack squat (ya know for those times when I can't do squats due to lack of a spotter. )
I don't have a pic, but I have a pretty decent home Gym.
1. Nautilus Power Rack with pulley system
2. Nautilus adjustable bench with Preacher attachement
3. Body solid hack squat/leg press
4. Staimaster 4400 PT (used to have Star Trac Treadmill)
5. Power Blocks 130 lbs each with stand
6. Trapeziodal shrug bar with stands from New york barbells.
7. Upside down lat-pull bar and thick tricep push down from Larry Scott Enterprises. EZ-curl barbell. 7' Olympic Bar. Lots of MAX "grip" plates in multiple sizes.
The only thing I wish I had is a dip stand.

Here's a little 'thinking outside the box' for you. Do you have a 2nd straight bar? If you do, put it inside your power rack -- instant dip station.

Yeah I saw you post that before. I don't have a second bar, but it is a good idea.
The distance between the uprights is probably going to determine the effects as well.

Yes, and by using something for spacers you can vary the width of the bars.

Nice! Maybe get the adjustable db's to save on room & get a GHGR or reverse hyper to take it's place. And maybe some mirrors too. But other than that, nice job! I like the big screen tv the best! :-))
