    bench press 3 times a week too much?

    Would benching 3 times a week be too much? I bench twice a week now (Flat Bench Press as the 1st exercise for my chest and Close Grip Bench Press as my 1st exercise on arms day), but I've been thinking of using Flat Bench on Shoulder day too as my sole exercise for the front delts (3 sets). The day after my chest workout and sometimes even 2 or 3 days after, my shoulders are still hurting from all the pressing, so I was thinking instead of DB military press, which I usually only feel while doing it, I'll switch it up to bench, either that or Front Barbell Rows. What do you think?

    Try putting in something else for the anterior deltoid (front raises?). Too much benching, while it probably won't be a bad thing, certainly won't help you.
    Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

    Answer A:
    I'm sure it's been done, and I'm sure it has produced results, but it's gonna depend on how advanced you already are and what other exercises you're doing.

    Answer B:
    If u can squat 3x a week, I don't see why u can't bench 3x a week...
