The Animal Barbell Club... Coming Your Way

Being that the BB.com community has been so good to us, we wanted to let you guys know about the Animal Barbell Club. The ABC is a national movement working on a region by region level. Thus far, chapter meetings have taken place in Chicago, Northern Cali, Detroit, etc with a huge inaugural, Universal corporate sponsored gathering in Philly earlier this month http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=5090133

At the core of the ABC is the desire of like minded, hard training individuals who live the lifestyle and love the Animal brand to gather to train, eat and talk shop. As we all know, with the growth of corporate gyms and pretty fitness centers, guys like us are a dying breed, quickly becoming an endangered species.

ABC gatherings are held at basic, serious, no-nonsense gyms and are organized by a regional coordinator that has taken the initiative to start his own chapter. These chapters are supported by The U with samples, banners, t-shirts, etc and will have special status at The Cage at future Arnold Classics.

There are several ABC gatherings occuring in the coming weeks including Pittsburgh, Ohio and Arizona and a three week Saturday blitz that I'll be attending (and bringing special guests) at the beginning of December with gatherings in Connecticut, Jersey and NYC. The ABC is a really cool and unique idea.It's something that set Universal apart from other companies, training always comes first, they are not just pushing products. The first one in Philly was great and I am sure the others will be even better.

I will be helping set up the NYC event. We are most likely going to do it:

Anyone who is in the Kansas & Missouri areas, feel free to PM me for more information. I'm the coordinator for the KS/MO chapter of the Animal Barbell Club.

If you guys feel like getting together with some Animal-minded guys on the warpath to growth, holler at me. We will be training legs, so bring ya' bucket. Another brother & I are already planning to play "Fall Down" at the end of the session, repping 135 until we can't stand any more. There will surely be hardcore training and brotherhood happening.
