Worried about CEE acidity? Well take a look here.
I've been reading over the past few months and noticed a few people were worried about the acidity levels of CEE and whether or not it will harm your teeth. I decided to do a test and find out what it is.
Equipment:
Distilled water (pH 7)
BN CEE
pH test strips
I ran the test 10 times and came up with an average pH level of 4. This would be considered a weak-moderate acid to most people. Now I know some of you probably have a very limited knowledge on the pH scale so let me give you some examples. The pH range is from 0-14, 0 being very acidic and 14 being very basic (alkaline) and 7 being neutral.
Carrots - 5
Tomatoes - 4-5
Beer - About 4 but will differ between brands and types
Soda - 3 (yummy huh?)
Lemon juice- 2
Battery acid - 1
Taking these into considering you can see that CEE really isn't that acidic except in taste. If you are really worried about it corroding your teeth just wash your mouth out after taking your CEE or just drink some water after.
I hope this gives some people an idea of what you are dealing with. This wasn't done in a super clean lab or with high-tech equipment but this is a decently accurate test (your results may differ).

Wow, they figured out a way to make something with only 4 pH taste like battery acid.
Think of the possibilities..

And we would know how battery acid tastes? Ha! That's something I never want to try out.
The strips I have I got from school and were 90% of the time dead on with a $500 pH tester.

Nice! Finally someone who does something in order to find out his question, instead of whining about it.

Glad you seem to like this. Maybe I'll try a few other supplements just to see what they are like. The one that is really bugging me would be Lipo-6. One day I took that with just a bit of water and no food (dumb I know), talk about burning....wow!

Yea phosphoric acid is the ****. I tested a can of coke for phosphoric acid content last year in one of my chem labs. I can't remember the exact amount but it was very significant.

I used two different amounts of water and the same amount of CEE. Five tests used 2.5 tsp of CEE and about 2oz of water and the other five were done with 4oz of water and 2.5 tsp of CEE. The reason for the low amounts is who wants to drink a full 16oz glass of this stuff? Not me.
I did do one test today using 10-12oz of water and it still came up as a four.

Good Post. Glad to see something I suspected confirmed. I figured it was about 4-5, which actually concerned me a bit considering all the talk of it being really acidic.
My 'test'?, well I have spilled enough **** on my jeans in the past to know what a 'real' acid does to them. So far I have had no problems with my jeans falling apart after spilling CEE on them trying to put it in capsules. Also if you leave it on your hands, it takes at least 1/2 hour before you can feel any itching or burning sensation at all, and even then it's not bad.
