augmentation and posture question

Hi Ladies~
I was wondering if anyone else that has had breast augmentation has experienced a change in their posture/body alignment. More specifically, do you feel like your center of gravity has shifted a bit, creating more of a tendency to round the shoulders forward, lowering the diaphragm and pulling the shoulder blades apart? If so, how have you counter-acted this problem?

hi

I have no boobage, but my daughter is a natural D. she has rounded shoulders and her back is starting to curve in. i guess that happens when you put weight on the front.

I'm not sure if my experience would apply, but since I've began focusing on core exercises, even with my extra weight, and large cup size(DD), my posture has improved greatly. I don't have a hunched back, weak shoulders, and other problems. Just the other day I received a compliment on how I carried my upper body(caught me by surprise). It may be the initial shock of the extra poundage, and your body will most likely adjust as back muscles etc become stronger. I hope things work out for you. Also, you look great. T

I had breast augmentation 7 years ago, before lifting heavy and noticed that the augmentation changed my posture significantly. I was more prone to round my shoulders and back. I also felt my back was sometimes sore across my shoulder blades. Sounds funny but if I held my newly augmented breasts up the stress came off of my back and my posture improved. Basically, these things are heavy, and they are not large. I think about 350-400 cc's. Since I have been lifting heavy and doing some back work, my posture has improved significantly (and my boobs stick out like Soviet missiles). I also think strengthening my core has made a difference as well, but I think for me, that I need to target those areas to improve my posture.
