Technique plays a big part also. Use DB's so you can vary your hand positions.With DB's you can move your elbows forward a bit & take a bit of the shoulders & Tri's out of the equation. Also vary your bench angles (Decline through incline). Work the muscle at every possible angle to ensure balanced development.
