tore my rotator cuff 4 weeks ago
well i tore my rotator cuff 4 weeks ago from doing skullcrushers too heavy.. and anyway as of today ive begun to start doing treatment from my chiropractor.. however ive lost a fair amount of muscle.. especially from my delts and my triceps and chest.. because i havent trained those muscle groups.. i am able to do certain tricep exercises.. but no exercises that will interfere with the rotator cuffs or initiate pain.. i cannot do deltoid exercises and in saying that i cannot do bench press.. ive still been training every other muscle however.. what do people here recommend me do? ive lost size and ive been feeling mentally bad and have lost my confidence as i have gyno as well

Rest that **** man.
Keep lifting the other muscle groups if its safe, but otherwise let it heal.

I recommend listening to everything that your physio says and ignoring what everyone on here says. Except that. And that.

Wait, how the **** did you hurt your cuff doing a tricep movement?
Secondly, that will teach you to make sure your back and overhead work are always balanced with your chest work.

I don't get it, if you want to build a good chest, you shouldn't train chest?

Ofcourse you should train chest, just because Im a functional nazi doesnt mean someone interested in having a nice chest shoulden't do it.
Just... train smart people, even if you chest is lagging, you still need to make sure your back and overhead work outweights chest work.

Recovering from surgery
My rotator cuff tear was so bad I had to have it surgically repaired. A month after surgery, I started 4 months of physical therapy--I am still not back to lifting heavy weight. I would recommend seeing a physical therapist and getting some good physical therapy. Try to find one who understands that you are a weight lifter/bodybuilder and set goals for you to reach right from your first day of therapy. I told mine I wanted to get back to lifting and I will soon be ready. Not really sure if a chiropractor is the right route to go. Good luck!
