    how often should i take protein shakes

    should i only drink the protein after i work out or should i do it before/during/after the work out or what. any help would be great.

    Make you bigger, I doubt it alone would. If you’re training hard and consistently with a good eating plan you will grow in size.

    Is it ideal to drink it immediately after a workout? Reason why is because I have to travel to the gym, and would rather not carry two bottles to the gym.

    Or is it fine to just drink it, say, 30 minutes after a workout?

    30 minutes is fine but the idea is to supply the protein to your muscles ASAP after workout, as this is when its needed most, to help with the recovery of the fibres.
