I am a male by the way 120 pounds 5'11" and only 1.2 pounds of body fat. and trust me I'm alive and healthy. I'm not naive or bull****ing you im very intelligent, and yes I know a human body won't function with that little amount of fat.

Hello my name is Alicia, and I have recently for school purposes started going to the gym as we have a program were doing there. I started losing weight, and figured since I thought I was already underweight that I probably shouldnt be, (thought I had no idea how apparently unhealthy I really am).
So I talked to this personal trainer about how to get myself to gain weight rather then lose it,
He had this machine I think it was a "Tanita body composition analyzer" thats what it says on the top of this piece of paper that has all my body information, and this machine calculated my BMI when I stood on it,
It says that I have 1.7% body fat,
And my fat mass is 1.4lb
Just thought I would put that out there, since it doesn't seem like anybody has this low of a body fat percentage, and people seem to want to know what the lowest is.

You would be dead if that were true. Since that doesn't seem to be the case, your BF is way higher than that. If you menstruate, it is likely to be more like 17%, or higher.

Hey just saying this chick is right I have lived my whole teen/adult years with 1% body fat. Found out in high school did some kind of test and the teacher just looked at me weird. Trust me I have tried gaining weight and it does not work.

If you are not talking to us from beyond the grave, you are wrong. The reason you can't gain weight is you have an eating disorder. 60% of your brain weight is cholesterol, a saturated fat. Several pounds of it insulate your nervous system. You also need adequate fat in your body, and in your diet, in order to make test so you can move north of vag.

This made me laugh because their was a kid at my school last year claiming to be 8% and was the same height and weight as me. I'm 15%, maybe even higher, who knows! ;p

LOL, having seen many cut open cadaver bodies while getting my degree in the medical field, you simply cannot fathom how much fat is in there on "skinny" people. On the people claiming one or two pounds of body fat, there is plenty more hanging off your small intestine alone, not to mention the other dozen or so organs in there. It is EVERYWHERE no matter how skinny you are, EVERYWHERE.
