    I still don't understand why people do shrugs on shoulder day...

    Shrugs and deadlifts go hand in hand for me, they both work the traps, so why do people shrug on shoulder day and then deadlift the day after (or before) in their 4-5 day splits? I don't get it.

    Some people work traps on back day, and some work traps on shoulder day.

    I do traps on shoulder day.

    cuz i usually do shrugs last and on back day my grip is completely shot from all the heavy rows and lat pull downs, so i do em on shoulder day when my grip is good and fresh

    i do them last, right after upright rows, because those really hit your traps too..
