Myoplex/Muscle Milk headaches

Does anyone get headaches after having a myoplex or muscle milk shake? It mainly happens to me if I have one before bed, then I wake up and feel like I have a killer hangover. Might be a hydration issue but I have 8 oz of water with the shakes and get up to pee at least once a night.

Thanks!

try an alternative, like whey+casein (ON perhaps) and let it roll for a week. it could be a number of issues causing your reaction if to the products at all.

i used to get headaches which were blood pressure dependent. see what is directly related to the cause of your headaches and relieve the symptoms, it's easier than you may think. for example, my headaches i got were reliant on high blood pressure, lying down n getting an hour or two snooze was good enough to relieve it, if not, advil liquigels are a great option too.

i've also noticed that training was an AMAZING headache killer. yes it might pound at first, however give it 10-20 mins and then your head will feel great. you might want to avoid cardio (it was giving me mixed results for headache relief), and just hit the weights. to my surprise it was a great way to relieve the headaches.

hopefully things will improve, cuz headaches are bloody nuissances!

I knew a guy who had this issue. He switched to muscle milk natural (no artificial sweeteners) and the problem stopped.

I thought it might be a hydration issue as well b/c it doesn't happen if I have a shake during the day...only when I wake up in the morning.

I am on creatine but won't usually mix it with my pre-bedtime shake.

I think I'll switch to a casein-based shake or have cottage cheese instead

Thanks for the suggestions
