Unhappy itching after every meal? ugh.. this is really damn annoying..

For the last 3 weeks or so, after every meal I start to itch all over for about 30 minutes or so, then I'm fine.. Any ideas on what this is from, and could any supplements cause this?

Very interesting - I have had the same experience off and on over the past few years (since I started working out and taking supplements). Mine is very rare though ... maybe once every few weeks at the most. I can feel my face get "flush" and red, and I get a slight itchy feeling in my upper arms, neck, face, etc.

At first I thought it had to be something related to blood sugar but my blood sugar is always fine regardless of when I measure it. I would *love* to find out what is causing this.

I take a daily multi, about 10-15g of Glutamine per day, and about 1g of protein per lb of body weight per day. I've been taking creatine too, but I stopped about a week ago, and not sure if I'll take it any more as it doesn't seem to do anything for me.

Just off the top of my head... the jet fuel / tyrosine combo *MAY* be the problem (if indeed it's supplement related... which wouldn't be surprising).

I read through the thread, but not exactly sure what you're referring to. The thread seems to be a debate as to whether it's beneficial to take glutamine or not. Are you simply suggesting that I don't take it, or are you implying there is a connection between glutamine and the topic of this thread? Thanks.
