Lately i've noticed (like the past day) that i've been urinating a lot less than i usually do despite drinking the same amount of water. I've heard that too much protein (as in that of a bodybuilder) can lead to kidney stones. Over the past week i have also been noticing pain in the hips and around the pelvis. My question is am i in the process of passing a kidney stone?? I notice a slight burning when urinating, no blood in the urine, and no fever or anything like that.

Too much protein = kidney stones??Brian: Face it Peter, you get competitive about everything.
Peter: I am so not competitive. In fact, I am the least non-competitive. So I win.

You need to drink more waterI have only two regrets: I didn't shoot Henry Clay and I didn't hang John C. Calhoun.

I've had kidney stone 4 times, and BELIEVE ME, you would know if you had then. It feels like you have to $hit, then you feel like you need to piss, then you just want to lay on the floor and die, and then repeat that whole process for about 4-5 hours until you can get to the hospital for some demarol. I usually have attacks when I have been consuming large amounts of cola drinks and things of that nature, so I avoid them now. Not sure about the protien, but if you can type, and have rational thought, you aren't having a kidney stone attack.Shugyo=Train Hard.
