    8/19 ME Squat/deadlift day

    Close stance good mornings(no belt)- 45 x 6, 95 x 6, 115 x 6, 135x6, 155x6, 175x3, 185x2 195 x 1(not that hard , probably could've gotten 215, but didntwanna chance anything coming back from not doing these)

    havent done these in a while(2+months). Felt weird without a belt.. not too shabby though. Old PR was around like 165x3. These were done so my back was just a bit over parallel to the ground

    Front squat- 45 x 6, 95 x 6, 115 x 6, 135 x6.
    deep deep deep squats. Hurt my wrists, couldnt find a pair of wrist wraps to use

    Feet to plate sumo dl for hips- 135 x 6, 185 x 3, 235 x 5
    all pretty easy

    Pull thrus( w/ various different positions)- 4 x 15

    decent work out

    aren't the ultra wides kinda hard to do? it should seem uncomfortable


    hmm, i'm thinking about doing some squatting variations for assistance... barbell hack squat or front squat...

    thats a normal stance for some sumo DLers , but for me its wide. I have a friend(the one who pulled 450@ 141) and he puts a few collars on the inside of the bar, so he can bring his feet out further.

    I can't pull 300 at all. Even with such a short pulling distance its worse? Maybe mechanical disadvantages and change in percentage of muscle usage which can effect the whole lift? I'm not sure. Anyway what would a 100lbx8 close grip bench press bench press approximately equal in a max? Because my regular bench is very weak. Maybe I am a slow twitch person.

    i'd say maybe like 130

    i used t o be good w/ a narrow sumo (pulled 335) but than i switched to conventional and havent pulled narrow sumo since.

    i'm a pretty wide sume DL-er, like the middle of my chins approximatively at the rings, maybe a bit wider.

    i don't know if wider will affect my lifting negatively... i'm most afraid of slipping and falling into a split with the heavy barbell in front of you
