Good supp

I have been using a cissus product for about a month and have been pretty impressed lately. It has really helped some pain and injuries accumulated over the years. Was wondering if anyone else on this board has tried it. I would ask in the supp section but as Red has pointed out, u really need to wade thru alot of "geezer" comments

I've been using Cissus and touting it here for three years now. Unfortunately, the all-knowing anti-supplementites have pooh poohed it along with anything not called multi-vitamin. Three years ago I refused surgery on my rotator cuff and instead went with mega-dosing Cissus and Celedrin instead. Three months later, after a program of high rep/low weight training I was good to go heavy again. Just 5 weeks ago I messed up my other shoulder took three weeks off and again began downing 8 Cissus and 5 Celedrin ED and today I was able to handle reps at 275 in the BP again. In two months I fully expect to be back to full strength. Cissus is, IMHO, the absolute best discovery in the world of supplementation in the last three years. It has been/is used by a ton of people who want to protect and/or get relief for their joints and tendons or who need to repair the same. I started with USLabs' original Cissus RX and then their later Super Cissus. I have also capped the bulk Cissus and now use the 40% Ketosterone version from PrimaForce. Besides its healing properties be aware that many, myself included, have found Cissus to provide some analgesic effects. It is said to also be a good anti-oxident. I started with it to heal my shoulder but I keep it a part of my daily supplementation and will do so permanently. Nothing I have ever known has such good healing properties. NOTHING.

I regulary trained at 5X by 5 secs holds with 365 on rack extensions for my tris. I train even heavier on Triceps Pushdowns again with the HS equipment. Because of this type of heavy training I have always been subject to joint problems but now with Cissus I avoid most and recover well if I do something really dumb.

Sounds like your recovery is going along great FREDROCKS. Good luck! The bulk product I buy at another site which sells the USPLabs product. Let me know if you want a PM with the details. It is a little fussy in that it seems to lump up unless you work with it in a cool, dry environment. If you remember to do that then it is a good money saver. I just use a cap em quick setup which costs peanuts and takes me about 15 minutes per 50 caps. I use the Prima Force now because it is priced nicely and comes with about 120 per bottle. When I am not injured I just use 3 caps on off days and 4 caps about an hour before my workout elsewise. This old AF multi-linguist, Herky Birds, is always glad to pass on info.

Benching 275 at a Bodyweight of 215 @ 66, places you in 2nd in the USAPL in your age division (M6). The top guy has a Bench Press of 276 lbs, so if you can pause 277 lbs on your chest as per competition standards, you will be the 220 lb Class champ.

Very impressive. Keep up the good work and best of luck with that injury.

Thanks, I hope I can get back to serious training by January. Pausing 275 is a no brainer even raw. I have already (when healthy) done a 10 X 10 @ 225. I would like to see what I can do with a good bench shirt. They seem to get 50+ lbs with them.

Sounds like you are there!

I'm just getting started with shirted Bench Pressing. I'm about to order my first. A Titan Fury.

I'm scheduled to do my first equipped meet in January. Up to this point I've competed Raw.

Good luck Smitsky, keep us up to date on your prep and the comp. With a shirt you should get 275 with a little experience and 300 with some serious practice. Your'e gonna need heavy weight to get it down to your chest and then .....boom!
