Ever use an internal cleanser?
I got watching this infomercial about some cleanser and it looked convincing, but a quick google search showed a ton of complaints and the product appears to be "crap" no pun intended lol
But is there any truth to the "science" they claim? I have never done a cleanse, or used a laxative.
So if there is any truth to this "Fecal Weight", where can i go for product suggestions?
Edit, ****! wrong section lol ...

that product sounds horrible.
i've thought about doing a cleanse because this year i've had some major GI problems.
i went against it and am now using metamucil and glutamine together. both do wonders for me.

i did a search on here and most people are against a cleanser product, but someone did mention that every 6 weeks he spend 3-5 days taking 20g fiber at night, and a stim in the morning ... and seems to have great results by day 3 (big ****s) and he likes the results i guess
i might give that a shot, since i have plenty of stims, and i have some fibersure sitting in cabinet

dunno about the stims but fiber is the best thing to help you that's natural.
you don't have to take it on and off though, i take it each day.

okay getting a bit deep here (NO PUN INTENDED).
most doctors will tell you the amount of waste you "emit" is based on several factors.
how much and what you intake, and what your body uses from that are of course the biggest factors.
on average you should have 2 movements a day (maybe more, if you eat more often).
if you do this "regularly" (hence the "are you regular", aspect of most cleansers/fiber product marketing) then you dont need to do a cleanser. but you can look into some natural cleanser (fiber is one of course) to assist if needed.
now on a whole body note, there are several body functions and organs/tissues that can get "convoluted" and/or "toxic" with toxins. in these circumstances you can look into either whole body cleansers or specific enzymes/herbs/minerals/vitamins that target these areas (i.e. liver cleansers, etc.)
Now as someone who was hesitant to use a product that put in mind liquid draino/liquid plumber images myself. I did research, and now have done a cleanse to assist in overall health. i can say I did feel better, now whether that was psychosomatic, because I believed it made me feel better, or I really felt better Im not 100% sure. but yes I felt better.
Best overall recommendation, is talk to a doctor if you are unsure, but keep in mind (not being a conspiracy theorist here) they cant "prescribe" vitamins, and many will err on the side of caution when even recommending them. so do your research on any products you consider. I suggest to scope not only the specific item, but also its individual parts(ie you want to take brand X'x all-body cleanse product called 'Body Draino', and it contains 'vita-meata-vegimin' [thanks I Love Lucy] id research not only brand X as company, id research their Body Draino product as well as the ingredients including 'vita-meata-vegamin'.)
Hope this helps.

Don't even bother trying it. They are pointless.
Quote:
Medical experts state that body cleansing is unnecessary as the human body is naturally capable of maintaining itself, with several organs dedicated to cleansing the blood and gut.
Professor Alan Boobis OBE, Toxicologist, Division of Medicine, Imperial College London states that "The body?s own detoxification systems are remarkably sophisticated and versatile. They have to be, as the natural environment that we evolved in is hostile. It is remarkable that people are prepared to risk seriously disrupting these systems with unproven ?detox? diets, which could well do more harm than good."

Edit: strong bump
