Protein, Carbs - QUESTION!
A couple questions that I could REALLY use some help on. Can you consume TOO much protein? And what happens if you don't consume enough carbs? How do I eat more "healthy" carbs if I'm lacking in them? I consume about 150-180 g of protein a day, and I think that's enough. But looking on the internet, sometimes I wonder if that is too much and what will happen if it "is" too much? I appreciate any inpute on this as I don't know. Thanks everyone!

If my carbs get too low, I feel weak and lethargic. There are plenty of sources of healthy carbs... whole grains, vegetables, etc.

Depending on your weight... you may be conuming a bit too much protein. Make sure you are drinking lots of water. Protein does turn into fat if not used. Good sources of carbs are low glycemic ones like oats, brown rice, yams, oat bran and any kind of fibrous veggy and some fruit.
My precontest diets are extremely low carb so I can tell you how I feel. Irritable, tired, moody, dizzy, no strength, no libido, no brain power...I make a lot of dumb mistakes and am very forgetful.
