For those of you that know me and for those of you that don't I used to be a huge poster in the supp section and hell just on bb.com in general. That has since changed. Now I visit the site a few times a day but I haven't been in the supp section in a long time but after a quick look it's so painfully obvious that PEOPLE TAKE WAY TOO MANY SUPPLEMENTS. Now I'll admit (i'm 22 now) when I was young, like 18 or 19 I was one of those guys. i picked up the FLEX every month just to see the new supp ads and what the ads and flex had to say. Man I tried everything under the sun that promised results, anyone remember ecdysterone? yeah cause all that did was properly mess up my liver lol. Now I look and I see people asking if it's ok to stack an NO product with CEE, while taking liver tabs and adding in some other new test booster.
And you think these supplements are going to make you big? Look i'm not trying to get into the argument of "just eat and lift" but it is so sad to see people pissing their money away on these new "promising" supplements.. Honestly all that is needed is lots of protein, bcaa's, regular creatine mono as CEE and Cell-vol's have never been proven to be more effective and maybe a test booster

Amen to that brother!
I am to start taking supplements by next week after almost 3 months of bodybuilding, made tons of research about each of them, and found out/decided, that all I need is creatine, protein powder and multivitamins!
I read a lot of people discuss about this and that, read articles about this and that supplements and realized you can do without them.

Interesting topic... there's a obvious flipside of this coin...
Way back in the day when I was 19-20 (before I started seriously lifting)... I tried some Yohimbe as a sexual supplement (got it for free). I kinda shrugged it off assuming it wouldn't really do anything. Holy **** ! That Yohimbe changed my outlook on "supplements" forever.
Cliffnotes: Some supplements are amazing... some are absolute garbage. All we can do is help keep the n00bs away from the garbage out there.Free agent
