How do I become more flexible?

I used to be incredibly flexible and now I am definitely not, which is sad, because I am only 20!!!

Does anyone know any good ways to do this?? stretches, exercises, anything??? I really want to get my flexibility back!!!

I'm not very flexible myself, but that's because I don't put the effort into it. I would guess that stretching would help. That's where I would start.

I do yoga in addition to w/o. It really is fantastic for the flexability. I stopped for a while when I was lifting weights heavily in the gym and I was so tight, I had to start all over again regaining flexability.
We have the power to accomplish anything, it's called our mind.

I watch the Food Network for porn.

I end every workout with standard stretching that I used to do in my dance classes. Just the basics. Touch toes, wide split and reach left, right, and front. Stand up with wide-spread legs and reach for my left foot and right food. Step foward (one leg in front, one in back) and reach for my toes while flexing foot. Other things that I don't know how to describe.

Stretching is really the best thing you can do for flexibility. Make sure you're warm, don't bounce, and hold stretches for 30 seconds. My boyfriend is very unflexible (didn't used to be able to touch his toes!) and he started stretching every night and after skateboarding and now he can touch his toes

A regular yoga practice will greatly increase flexibility.

yoga all the way. i wouldn't suggest doing it on days that you lift though. i really hurt myself doing that (pumping my muscles and then trying to do intense stretching really didn't work for me.)
