    protein shake + banana = good/bad?

    when i have protein shakes lately ive been adding a banana to the blender. i was wondering if thats gonna do any good/bad, or have no effect.

    also i mix the powder with cordial rather than milk cos im lactose intolerant or whatever they call it..am i losing alot by doing this?

    The only time I eat a banana or 2, is immediately postworkout. If I can't have a gatorade or a baked white potato, I take out a couple of bananas with a whey protein shake mixed with water. As far as your question is concerned, it just depends on what your fitness goals are to whether or not adding bananas will "hurt" you.

    sorry i didnt word my initial post clearly..i mean if i add the banana will the protein in the shake have less effect on me...i do have them pre and post workout.

    im trying to bulk by the way so i figured the extra intake will help,,
