I use an electric razor and then shower and vigorously rub legs dry with towel, then apply lotion. I'm not real hairy anyway so I shave at about 4 weeks out and then again the night before the show. Works for me.

I need some suggestions for razor burn, too! I've got a really thick mat of chest hair that's hiding my great pecs... I've tried all the creams, but they don't do anything. I wanna show off, but the pecs can't show through...

I found that cutting shaving those areas to only once a week helps and also after shaving spread deodorant on the area you shaved. There is a new deodorant out, I believe it is made by Ban, but it is for razor burn.

    You will love it!!!

Also shave in the shower and use shampoo. Only shave as often as you have to but be sure to shave once per week. Whenever I skip a week that is when the bumps come in.
