If there is a training article to another site we'd prefer it copypasted and then the author given credit but othewise just link. What we're referring to is people putting that they moderate at other boards and taking members away from bb.com

Every forum has different rules. I don't mod the supps section so i'm not sure of their rules. I know i'm not going to have members broadcasting other sites especially ones that openly badmouth bb.com . Once again i stress moderator's rules are NOT up for discussion

well we've already found out that bozz runs things a little different than other mods.....maybe that answers your question. notice layne has no member flair-ups over in the supp. section

It would be hilarious if all the other sites started banning any mention of bb.com, but continued to allow the other sites to be mentioned.

How many customers will bb.com actually lose by other sites being mentioned?

one...maybe.maybe?

And how many ppl stay on the other boards just because they can talk about whatever they want without fear of being banned? The way for bb.com to get more customers is to allow more information on their boards, not restrict usage.

Ryan has put loads of cash in the forums and has risk of loosing business to competitors -- no wonder the rules are strict here, its all business. Everyone with any business sight will clearly see that.

Actually according to the mods, people in the forums have very little to do on the orders from bb.com.

Does this apply to mods too? Almost every mod here has (or had) a link to another board in their sig.

I find it kind of strange since bb.com exchanges links with the board that I mod, but if that's how it is I'll play by the rules.
