    Question Do You Fart While Lifting?

    Do most of you fart while lifting? I've never really thought about it before, but I just read this article about how some people think that farting helps and that there was even a small study done on whether it helps with strength training or not. Just wondered what everyone elses thoughts were on this.

    I use them for self controlled forced reps for squats and leg presses, and to help me get an extra rep or 2 or 10 on reverse crunches.

    Nothing more hilarious/gross that when you approach a particular station/bench at the gym and someone has just laid a fart bomb. Invisible but DEADLY. A lady blindsided me with one after she was done with the squat rack last time I went to the gym. Gross. (but slight turn on)

    My friend has chrons disease and farts and burps at the gym non stop. It's really foul, and he is 100% Italian so his mother makes huge meals..days he eats sausage I cant even go to the gym with him.

    Fart when working out? We've all done it! I'll walk away from where I'm working to a secluded area, drop an SBD, and hope emission trails don't lead others to the location of the offender (me).

    Occassionally, when I'm repping out on the leg press, especially when my knees are tucked to my chest before I push the sled up, I'll admit...I rip one. I have my mp3 blasting so sometimes I can't tell if it sounded as loud as it felt or if it even made noise at all. That's where the wonders of loud music piped in via speakers and tv's all over the gym come in handy.
