If anything, I'm sure he wants to avoid the implication that the UK is part of his 'empire.' I think he's letting Blair take the lead, and for good reason.

Prime Minister Martin is speaking right now (but Canada is still part of the British Empire).

There is probably a number of reasons Bush is hold out. I'm temped not to sleep until I hear him, but I may not get any sleep that way. He's a powerful speaker when he needs to be.

I think at this point, you should just get a bag of cheetos, and stay up to watch what the crap is going on.

I also can't wait to hear what Bush has to say about this. A lot of people chide him for being a bad public speaker, but I don't know if I've ever seen a more moving speaker than when he's talking about bringing the terrorists to justice.

Just using there instincts, based on previous attacks, eg. Time attacks (1 after another) and a few other reasons. Nothing is confirmed.

a group called "Al Queda in Europe" has claimed responsibility, the media did not simply poin tthe finger.

The media can run any stories of people claiming responsibility they find, but when the authorities hear of all people taking credit, they'll figure out which is the best fit based upon motive, opportunity, and ability, as well as any other evidence they may find at the scene.
