Incline Bench Problem
ok here's the situation, everytime i do incline benchs, i feel a slight pop in my Anterior Deltoid, then about 30 min. after my workout i feel a slight pain in the Anterior deltoid and a feeling of my shoulder being out of place, like it needs to be streched, and this only happens when i do incline bench, any other shoulder excercises don't give me any problems, its only the incline.
what could this be, should i see a doctor or wait til it goes away?

When preforming lifts using your shoulders, it's usually a very good idea to depress and retract your scapulae (shoulder blades) and maintain this posture throughout the motion. This means pinching your shoulder blades together and down. This will help a lot with the popping. Also, I'd recommend stretching before and after your workout holding each stretch for 25 to 30 seconds without bouncing.

i am obviously not sure if this could be the case, but it could be a laxity regarding ligaments that do not keep the humeral head perfectly centered..do you feel any kind of pain in the bicep tendon?
if you have laxity in the ligaments, the only thing u can do is to perfectly strengthen your rotator cuff muscles , and also the scapula retractors and the serratus anterior..so doing at least you have a strong muscular situations to supply where the laxity in the ligaments can t provide..
did u have any sort of injury or pull to the shoulder complex?
i am making supposition, because i suffered of a fall 2 years ago, down the stairs and before hitting the stairs i grasped with both hands the handles of the stair, receiving a terrible pull in both my rotator cuffs and ligaments... i was lucky that i always conditioned my rotators perfectly otherwise i would have torn them at the insertion..however ligaments were stretched and also AC joing was sprained...
however at now i have this problem that looks like yours...
actually i do not feel any pop when i do incline bench because the rotators etc are strong, but at the same time i have some shifting of the humeral head because the ligament is stretched and i feel a pain in that instant that i think is related to the humeral head touching..i suppose... the bicep tendon

also it is fundamental you keep your shoulder blades adducted (one against the other) when you do both the bench and the incline bench press, it will give more stability and strength
