America is removing people from power who they do not like and allowing people they like into power. They are also building permenent military bases in Afghanistan which give them stategic positions in Asia allowing them to Attack Iran and possible future war with China.

Secondly on Saddam UHussain. The US knew exactly who he was and what he did to his people yet they supported him throughout the 1980's. They are only removing him from power because he no longer suited the Americans interests in the region.
