Skippy Natural PB
My mom just picked it up at Acme. Aparently Skippy makes a new natural peanut butter that tastes really good and the oil doesn't separate from the butter. It has peanuts, palm oil, sugar, salt as ingredients. How do they make it so it can't separate?

By adding crappy ingredients that aren't in good natural peanut butter.

Na but hell most people use 1-2tbsp per day granted I would opt for natural but in the end it will not make a difference. Its somewhat natural lol. I know many who eat damn skippy everyday without any probs. And yes kashi cereal is dog**** lol. I would feed it to my dog

The amount of palm oil and sugar is a fraction of the nutrients. I bet a tablespoon will have 0.01g of palm oil and 1g of sugar per tablespoon. Is that going to make a difference!! Yeah i prefer just peanuts and salt too but cmon. . if its the only thing u can get dont worry . We all use sauces etc that have sugar and random stuff in them. Probably get sugar from those anyway.

Natural Peanut Butter should have only Peanuts and Salt.
The only kind I have been able to find that has this is the Ralphs brand. It's good though.

Take a trip to Whole Foods, more than enough to pick from there. And they make brown rice sushi!

If you want a very delicious tasting natty pb, try Smuckers Natural Honey Peanut Butter.
Okay so there's added little sugar in it (from the honey, no other added sugars) but I think it's worth it for the better taste.
I had my first natty pb experience this weekend with it and it was almost a religious experience for me :P

Yea seriously, i've been eating regular skippy peanut butter all my life, you're not going to gain 10 pounds from it. The difference in nutritional value is so minimal it's really irrelevant.
I love how certain people are so nitty-gritty about little stuff like peanut butter, but then go on 2-day binges every other week. I don't care what anyone says, binging on anything is NOT healthy.

Err...you want something that's really not healthy? Look up some info on the partially hydrogenated oils in your regular Skippy. As far as calorie and macronutrient totals, the differences between regular, natural , and pseudo-natural Skippy peanut butter are minimal. The detrimental impact of a lifetime of trans fat consumption is not.

It's not that people are so "nitty-gritty." Some people just prefer to avoid foods with partially hydrogenated oils(killer trans fatty acids proven to have serious health effects)
