Well it depends if you even like wrestling at all, don't go if you don't like it. I went to a few RAW shows before and had lots of fun, but I love wrestling so that's what I would tell you.

I have been to several. If you are going to a house show, a non televised event, it is better. Televised events suck because you watch the big screen too much, too many backstage segments, everyone has a damn sign, and you cant see because of it. If you can get seats in the first couple of rows of a section, then it is not as bad. House shows people dont bring as many signs because its not on tv, so you will be able to see whats going on. Along time ago, someone in front of me kept holding up a lifesize standup of the Rock. I almost got into a fight because of it.

Televised events don't suck because you had one bad experience with someone. I can see though how the signs may annoy you but that's why you don't buy seats way behind on the floor. First front rows or in the stairs is best.

I've been to many of them, I was at ONS too. Some of them were simply amazing to see live. Others not so much. Trying to think what WWF/WWE event I went to was the best...

I've been to a Raw
the one where Hardys beat the Dudleys for the titles, I marked out so f****** loud. Trish was beraided and made to bark like a dog by Vince
and a WWE house show at the frederick keys minor league stadium
Been to 2 Great American Bashs in WCW
Nash vs Jarrett main event, where Goldberg turned heel in 2000
and
Sting vs Goldberg in 98
it's a fun experience, esp. if you can go for cheap....if your a wrestling fan, you gotta do it at least once.

I've been to hundreds of events in my lifetime, to include WM 13 when Taker won the title from Sid (and had the awesome Bret Hart vs Steve Austin match), and SuperClash III with Kerry Von Erich vs Jery Lawler, to Chi-Town Rumble with Steamboat winning the NWA title from Flair. Also lots of WWF house shows.
But above all of that, my favorites by far were the monthly AWA house shows at Boylan High School in Rockford, IL. where i first saw Hogan in 82, and guys like Ventura and Adonis, the High Flyers, Andre, Bockwinkel, Baron Von Raschke, Crusher, Heenan, on and on...those were the good days, the territories...
live events will always be fun. Sometimes house shows are great, sometimes they suck. But go with the attitude that you're gonna have a great time, and you most likely will.

I went to a smackdown in Austin years and years ago. The Rock and Sock Connection wrestled the NAO (Road Dog and Waltman version). It was a lot of fun, but I was with non-fans who kind of got bored after the initial rush wore off.
Brian Christopher and Grand Master Sexy... forget what they were called at the time, but they were pretty funny - they were way exaggerating all their movements and put on a fun match.
