    ground beef everyday bad?

    My stepmother told me she was worried about my dad's health because he eats red meat often. I plan on eating a serving everyday. Bad?

    Try to keep it lean, it can be pretty fatty if you don't find the lean kind. I'm sure your dad is eating more than one serving. If you are bulking it's fine. Kinda iffy to eat it on a cut as its loaded with sat fats.

    Agreed. By "lean ground chuck" if available. It will be more expensive. There are leaner brands available in most larger cities which are good even if a bit more expensive.

    If you eat a normal portion of lean red meat everyday, it will actually help you more than hurt you. Great amino acid profile, good source of iron and zinc, and red meat has been linked to increased testosterone production, which is the name of the game.

    Yep, just don't go overboard with it. Lately, I've been eating a small piece of steak everyday cause we have an abunance of beef around the house...So far, no neg effects.

    That's fine if you are bulking and lol you won't get a heart attack especially at your age. (I'm sure you are young). If anything bodybuilding will keep you healthy as hell.

    I found chuck to be less lean. I got round. Tit was at a good price also.

    Thanks for the detailed info on the benefits on the meat also.

    Oh yeah, one more thing. Try grilling it, it gets a TON of the fat out of it. I could see grilling reducing the fat content by half.

    I've never tried it, but apparently boiling ground beef in water first, then scraping off the fat once it's been boiled, is an effective way to eliminate much of the fat content of ground beef.
