Why do IFBB pros have no facial hair and short hair?
Why do almost all pro BBers have no facial hair (moustache and beard) and short hair? The only exception I know is Mike Mentzer

The larger your head the smaller your body looks and visa versa. Thus bodybuilders typically cut their hair short and do not have facial hair so as to have the smallest "head" size" they can manage.

Look at ronnie coleman as an amateur. He had a fro but it distracts some people so he's got shaved head now.

i'd imagine a lot of them keep their hair short because of baldness/balding

Did it ever occur to you guys that after years of HGH, Dbol,Decca,EQ,Test Eth,prop,cyp, SuS.. I can go on and on.. YOUR HAIR FALLS OUT OR IT STARTS TO Thin?
some people get it worse then others.. this could be half the reason..

coleman wears a goatee at times.
a few years back cormier was rockin a bit of an afro
in 2000 levrone had pretty long rock star hair (not super long, but longer than most people)
short hair and no facial hair is pretty fashionable these days, aside from the whole shaggy frat boy abercrombie kids.

Haha yah that's a great point. Besides with eating, training and all the other crap. Who wants to worry about grooming facial hair?? I don't and i'm not a pro bodybuilder. It's just another "thing" you gotta do everyday.

HAHA, one of the dudes I train with has been on sauce for like the past 18 years. He's got like 6 hairs on the top of his forehead that he still gels up. It's fvkin' classic.

AAS accelerates a genetic predisposition to hair loss. Meaning if your family has a history of hair loss, then AAS will accelerate it, but it you do not, then it will make little difference. Everyone used to thing DHT was the main culprit to hair loss, well newer studies have shown thats not exactly the case.
Levrone comes in with a new hair style every few years. Why are they usually bald with no facial hair, maybe because its the TREND these days. I see a lot more guys shaving their heads these days for fashion, and these body hair removal commercials are everywhere.
