Prostate infections/problems after a heavy PH/PS cycle???
I have been sick for about 3 weeks and was not able to sort out what it was. It was getting worse and worse and finally yesterday the doctors figured out that I have a prostate infection. I was talking with one reputable bro here yesterday who had a friend get the same thing about a month after his heavy 1-test cycle.
Anyone have any personal or know of anyone who has had a similar experience? This is one of the most awful things I have ever experienced.
Your feedback about how to avoid this in future cycles would be greatly appreciated.

This was me exactly. Except for the excessive urination at night.
Symptoms may include:
A frequent urge to urinate, but the ability to pass only small amounts of urine.
A burning sensation when urinating.
Difficulty starting urination, interrupted flow (urinating in waves instead of in a steady stream), weaker-than-normal urine flow, and dribbling after urinating.
Excessive urinating at night.
A sensation of not completely emptying the bladder.
Pain or discomfort in the lower back, in the area between the scrotum and anus, in the lower abdomen, scrotum, or upper thighs, or above the pubic area, which may become worse when passing a stool.
Pain or vague discomfort on or after ejaculation.
Fever and other Flu like symptoms.

Get some better prostate from BAC, it has beta-sitosterol. It's suppose to cure all those problems you have mentioned. I get some of those symptoms, sometimes. I have been thinking about using it when on and coming off of cycles. For some info check out http://www.youngagain2000.com/betpros30.html They're twice as expensive as BAC, but have info.

I actually had a prostate infection for about 4-5 months. After various antibiotics and 3 months of Cipro, I think I ALMOST got it nailed yet every now and then symptoms show. The burning and pain is awful and is enhanced greatly for me when alcohol is drank. I actually ran 1-test while I knew that I had it but it didn't seem to enhance the problem at all. I dealed with the symptoms for probably 5 months before I finally went to doctor about it.... My case is a bit odd as I only bothers me at certain times. I found the best thing to do when it was bothering me was to take a hot bath and just sit there for a while until it went away. The hot water seems to relax the prostate and other nerves in the area...... Anyway, hope that helps..

Were you taking Adipo? I got some of those symptoms while on adipo, which acctually led to a urinary tract infection. Once I stopped the adipo the symptoms subsided. I asked Dante about it a while back and he said Nor-eph may be the culprit...in some people that is. Anyway i hope you feel better, Good luck.

No adipo here. I've been off my cycle for about 8 weeks as well. Problems started about 2-3 weeks ago.

Thanks Lethal. I'm on Cipro 500mg twice daily and lots of Ibuprofen. Not a lot of change yet in regards to pain but maybe a little better.
So there are no other bro's who have had or can comment on the likelyhood of this kind of problem resulting from a ph cycle?
Thanks for your help.

Hey windwords your conditions sounds a lot like prostatitas. Here is a link to everything you need to know. The symptoms are as follows.
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF PROSTATITIS?
The symptoms of prostatitis are nonspecific and mimic many other urologic and nonurologic diseases. You may experience no symptoms or symptoms so sudden and severe that they cause you to seek emergency medical care. Symptoms, when present, can include any of the following: fever, chills, urinary frequency, frequent urination at night, difficulty urinating, burning or painful urination, perineal (referring to the perineum, the area between the scrotum and the anus) and low-back pain, joint or muscle pain, tender or swollen prostate, blood in the urine, or painful ejaculation.
I know this because I have had it for years to a mild degree and it recently flared up during my PH cycle. Fortunately I used saw palmetto as soon as it began to flare up and it went away. Make sure you use it during your next cycle it really helps. Cheers

I had prostatitis and my doc told me..
that one of the main causes of it is not enough sex... an adult male needs to ejaculate 2 to 3 times a week to keep the prostrate in good working order, and when you don't, you can get an infection from a lack of flow of semen. It is very common in men, and can be cleared up with an antibiotic.
Just make sure your unit is getting use, in one way or another. It is uncomfortable to talk about these things, but these things are what males can face.
I am working the wife now more than ever heheheh

Well bro's,
I have come to believe that my issues are NOT related to the PH's/PS's. Not that it could not happen of course but due to more recent findings it looks like I just got into some areas that were contaminated with infection and whammo I got hit hard.

All symptoms started to show on day 5 of 1test, 4ad and fina(only small amounts of 4ad and fina in my transdermal homebrew)
Well ****, might as well add my experience. I'm on my 5th day of cipro, and am feeling much better. I went to the emergency room a few days back because my right nut was swolen to almost the size of an orange, and hurt like a bitch. Turns out I had epididymitis. Epididymis is believed to be caused by prostatitis. So After about 2 or 3 days of cipro, my nut started to feel a bit better, but then the prostatitis symptoms started to show. I have ocassionally over the years had EXTERMELY MILD symptoms of prostatitis never lasting longer than a few seconds a few times a year. Anyway, it appears the hormone/ph use caused a large flare up, and caused it to infect my nut.
With these issues arising the question for us should become, does 1test cause prostatitis in previous non-prostatitis subjects, does 1test cause prostatitis flareups in only current prostatitis subjects, or are these merely coincidences?
Guys prostatitis can be very very very bad. There are 3 forms of it.
Acute: Usually curable with a strong cycle of antibiotics.
Chronic: Sorry guys, almost never goes away can only treat the painful dabilitating symptoms!
Non-bacterial: Can not be cured by anti-biotics at all, no chance, because it is not an infection at all.
Apparently what makes prostatitis untreatable in so many is the closure of certain cells(i'm not biologist so excuse the terms). The cells some how close locking the infection in, and not letting the anti-biotics to come in at all. Apparently some positive results have been shown thru a rather awful therapy. The prostate must be massaged at least once a day while on the antibiotic, to open the cells to allow the antibiotics in(shutter)..
If it is true that 1test causes prostatitis in some people, and not that it causes flareups or not that its a mere conicidence, this may be something very serious to consider in 1test use.
Anyway, check out prostatitis.org for more info.
I hope to hell my prostatis is acute and leaves..

Saw Palmetto has been proven to relieve some of the symptoms and discomfort associcated with Beningn prostate hypertrophy.
Both androgens and ephedrine like products have been found to induce prostate hypetrophy so we must be very careful. I don't think that there is currently a link between BPH and the development of prostate cancer, but I urge you all to be very careful.
Feel better bros!

You are correct, there is no link what-so-ever between any of this and prostate cancer. we are not talking about enlarged prostate issues (though that does come with prostatitis as well) we are talking about a prostate infection.

oh, by the way, if your doc didn't give you anything for the pain, check out uristat. Its OTC, so no prescription needed. This has always helped me stop the pain for a while (mine usually comes at night for some reason). My doctor gave my vioxx for the pain, but it doesn't directly relieve the local pain like uristat. Try it out if you haven't. BTW, it will make your urine red/orange/bright yellow...

Actually from what I have read prostatitis is caused by excessive estrogen in the body, now htis could be from a few reasons.,
The first one being androgens raising the test levels , when the test levels increase the estrogen levels increase accordingly. The second is low test levels causing estrogen to take over .
I use a estrogen lowering agent such as diindolyl methane, or even 'M'. I also use saw palmetto with a mix of my own stuff. I have also found if not enough water is put into the body it will possibly cause symptoms also. Mine was attempted to be treated using cipro but it was a waste of time. The doc told me this and that, I finally told him to pound salt, I lstarted to do research for a few months on the subject and started to make my own mix and it went away within a few weeks . Occasionally if I use ephedrine products it will start to flare up but within a few days it is back under control.

I'm kind of tripped out. Worried about never being able to take eca or anything hormonal again without having major issues. From everything I have read the cause from what i understand is truly unknown.
And we all know doctors in general are idiots. When I went in with my swollen nut, he said it was caused by holding it i when i had to pee or ejaculate. Then he hands me a brochure on epididymitis, that he diagnosed me with that has many causes, but none that he mentioned (don't you love it?).. The brochure said prostatitis, a bladder infection or an std is the cause.
From everyone I have read posts on prostatitis, either it is cured for good in like 2 weeks or is chronic. Patients take months and months of cipro and start to feel better, but it comes back and forth. Most tend to drop cipro after a few months. If mine is not gone in 4 weeks, I'm dumping it. No need to cause resistance if it aint gonna work.
Any you guys have prostaitis problems from SU/UA? Since im writing off caffine and ephedrine as a fat loss agent due to prostatitis. Would be nice to find something that works.

Dejavu. I'm experiencing almost everything you've just named off after coming off of a mass tabs cycle. Saw Palmetto dosed relatively high seems to help to a minor degree. I hate this because I have no health insurance. I believe I'm going to have to suck it up and go anyways, despite the bill.
I know this is a very old thread, but has anyone else experienced these symptoms post-cycle?
