Considering a CHIN/DIP power station, advice needed
I am planning to get a so called "power station" or "strength station" for home exercise. It's a frame that you can do dips, chin-ups, and knee-ups on. Anyway, after some research on the Internet, I've narrowed my choices into 3 (as shown in attachments). They are Body Solid GVKR82, Apex TC3001, and PARABODY 813.
The body solid and parabody units are quite similar, except that the parabody got more welded joints than the body solid unit.
The APEX unit claims to use "2 x 2 and 2 x 3 inch 11 gauge commercial grade tubular steel construction", and is about $100 cheaper than the body solid.
Any advice or experience on those units would be very appreciated!
I currently own the Apex powertower. Its great for dips, knee lifts. But it flexes alittle during pull ups. Its much better then Golds gym/ Dick's sporting goods models. For the money its a good buy, IMHO.
