Hey, this is my first time posting on these boards, and I was just wondering how many calories should I be eating per day to loose weight. I'm 6'4" and weigh 172. I used to weigh 198 in december, but I started running and lifting a lot. I've been eating about 700 calories a day, but is that healthy? Could someone give me an average meal plan for 1 day? Sorry if I sound like a newb, I just recently started to get serious about bodybuilding and want to make sure I'm doing evreything right.

you've been eating 700 calories a day? Thats horrible for your body. Go to the bb.com site and search for a resting calories burned calculator and find out how many calories your burn while resting. then add the calories you burn with exercise/cardio/daily walking etc. then when you get that total subtract 500 calories and eat that many.
btw stahlheart is right 6'4" 172 doesn't seem like you need to lose weight. You probably look like olive oyl already. I'm 6'0" and have a lbm weight of 183. Sounds to me like you need to up your calories by 3000 per day and start going hard at the gym to add some weight (if being muscular is your goal).

Resting Metabolic Rate Calculator

(I go by the last calculation b/c it factors in bf% and seems to be a more precise indicator imo)
