ok the thing with biceps and back is that all of the back excersizes use bis so after your done with your back your biceps are too worked to get in a good lift imo.. tris not as much hope it helps.

I use to do the classic bis/back and tris/chest. Since I've switched I think a bi/tri day is better.

Strongly Agree. I have seen nice gains from a bi/tri day... i throw in a super

set or two and it makes for good recipe.

plus the pump that you're getting from both sides of your arms (well I'm not sure whether hitting both tri/bi has to do with it) makes your arm look huge :-p.

Of course that's my opinion and could be all in my head.

Yeah, it works great. Also, by doing it this way you get to start fresh w/the bis/tris and go heavier since it isn't already partially fatigued from chest or back (BP, BB rows, etc.).

If you do tricep extensions, do your BI's first.
Unless your BI's are small, the pump your BI's get
will hinder you on that exercise.

    Personally I prefer doing chest/tri and back/biceps on a 3day split, but bi/tri on a 4day split

I used to do biceps and triceps the same day, but I switched it up and do them on seperate days. There is nothing wrong with training them the same day if you do isolation exercises.

Yes doing triceps and biceps in the same day is great! It's called antagonistic traing( not sure if I spelled that right). When you lift do your biceps and tricep but alternate sets. Happens is when you do a curl your bicep contracts and forces your tricep to stretch and relax therefore increasing recovery time between sets.
