question for my ladies...
Does anyone ever experience this? I am cutting at the moment, and although I am hungry all the time, sometimes I get sooo sick of the foods that I eat (over and over and over, lol) that it is very hard to choke it down. The thought of more ________(insert food here) almost makes me sick. I eat it but geez... Any suggestions???

I was like that for one contest prep. I ate so much white fish and spinach that even though I was starving, the thought of consuming it made me nauseous!
Wish I had some suggestions for ya. Maybe try some spices or things like lemon juice, and vinegar. What types of things are you eating? Maybe we can help add some zing to your food. Another set (or more ) of eyes and minds can be helpful!!

thanks ladies...I guess I just needed to vent a bit to another human being who understands...not much support where i'm at,lol. Anyway, no I so try to mix it up--I cook out of a high protein cookbook, and have taken a few ideas off of here as well. It's just that I've only eaten this severely clean for a little over a year now, and am concerned about being able to sustain it as a long-term lifestyle, which is of course the point. Anyway thanks!!!

I am in the same boat as you except my love/hate relationship is with protein shakes. They are a wonderful supplement but I get so sick of the taste that I'd almost rather swallow raw eggs than drink one more shake. I agree with the poster above me - more spices! Also, you might try smaller portions and experiment with new food types. I recently switched to vegetarianism and love it!

Agggh, yea, I experience this on my no-carb days now, because I have to eat soooooo much protein! I try to stick to lighter stuff, like tilapia, because chicken is just too dense and takes a long time to chew (seriously haha I hate it).
And I've found that chicken seasoning (the stuff used in fried chicken breading) tastes awesome on EVERYTHING. Even chicken.

Sometimes thinking about the food, having to prepare, cook and then eat is enough to put anyone off.....could you get some supportive person close to you to cook for you a couple of times???
Food put on your lap without all the hassle tastes better!

That is sooo true!! Sometimes I will crave a certain food so bad, but by the time I'm done taking the time to chop, measure, and cook everything.. I don't even want it anymore. Then I usually put it in a container in the fridge and take out whatever I cooked the day before and wasn't in the mood for.. I end up eating everything the day after I cook it for that exact reason.
But I do agree w/ trying different spices. And sometimes I'll go to my local health food store and just wander around to see what new stuff they have that I want to try.. I get excited over the dumbest stuff sometimes. Like the other day I found some of those shiritake noodles (the miracle noodle thingys) and I might as well have won the lottery
Take care, and good luck!

I must be incredibly boring as I would happily eat the same thing 3 times a day.... actually very often I do eat chicken 3 times a day.... and that's not including the other meals....

That is a very valid point, and an excellent idea. Yeah, leftovers tend to be not so appealing, lol. Like everyone else (Im sure) I cook twice a week, really...also, if I just cannot stomach it at home, I might go out and get--yup, you guessed it, chicken /tilapia and broccoli but somehow with the prospect of dining out, it is actually good.
Great ideas ladies, it is nice to know it's not only me,lol

I have to put tons of salsa on my chicken breasts now or Hot sauce.
THere's no way I could eat it plain.
I'm done with tuna for now, I just can't swallow it, smells it, or see it anymore for awhile.
