why dont i feel it IN my bicep muscle?

ok whenever i train a muscle i dont always get sore...but when i do i feel it IN that muscle.

but with biceps i NEVER feel soreness in my bicep. its always in front of the bi.

    (as i was complaining about.....here http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...&threadid=4027 )

why is this? im using proper form. is this a sign that i am doing something wrong?

I never get sore biceps since 2 months, thats normal, I get a little and I mean a little bit of soreness near my forearms.. but still soreness doesnt mean muscle growth

If you mean the pump is closer to your elbow, that's normal.

Are you making progress with you Bicepts work? Like can you curl more weight than you could a month ago? If not you might not be overloading the muscle which is a prerequisite to muscle growth.

I sometimes also feel the pump close to my elbows. Especially if I am doing barbell curls. I don't feel it as much with dumbells or the E-Z Bar. I dunno.. as long as I keep making gains its all good.

Peace and Good luck to all

you're using your tendons to lift, and your forearms

do some cable curls, and preacher curls to isolate the muscle

    i do

ez bar and standing barbell for my biceps and thats enough coz the pump is crazy.

    try tensing your bicep.

this might help do barbell curls and do them so you dont bring the bar right to the top ( about 3/4 up and stop so the tension is still on the biceps then tense the biceps

If you want to get sore in your biceps, shock them..Either do a really high number of sets, or try a high number of reps. Giant sets are great. really, do anything that will get the intensity up.

best exercises for bicep soreness are lying dumbell curls and very slow barbell preacher curls stretching all the way down pausing and then back up slowly
