Almonds, cashews, or peanuts
Which is best for cutting, or just overall best choice?

I'm not sure exactly but I hear almonds are the best, in moderation of course. Nuts are great when you don't go too many as they are mostly fat.

The first rule of cheat club is you do not talk about cheat club. The second rule of cheat club is you DO NOT talk about cheat club. Third rule of cheat cub, someone yells stop!, goes limp, taps out, the cheat is over. Fourth rule, one cheat at a time, fellas. Fifth rule, cheats will go on as long as they have to. And the sixth and final rule, if this is your first night at cheat club, you have to cheat.

Almonds are the healthiest, but when it comes to food, variety is the best thing. Eat all 3. Walnuts, too.
Probably the biggest problem bodybuilders make when it comes to healthy eating is not enough variety.

Cashews are the worst I think, almonds and peanuts are both good. Almonds have more healthy fat, and peanuts have more protein, so they're a better choice as a snack.

Overnight Soaking
Almonds are the best tasting and seem to be universally preferred.
I was reading a nutrition book written by some hippy and he recommends soaking the Almonds in a bowl of water overnight. That way, the Almonds are tricked into thinking that they're germinating and they release many of their nutritional compounts (and they also absorb some of the minerals from the water).

Macadamia's
Macadamia's taste awesome, but they're the highest in fat i think. Great if you are on keto.

That's true. I used to eat a ton of raw almonds but I couldn't digest them at all, that's because they have stuff in them that stops them from being digested. They're seeds and can't grow into trees if they're eaten, so that makes sense.
When you soak em, they get rid of that stuff and it makes them much easier to digest, although some of the flavor is lost.

Walnuts are the best, then almonds, cashews, and then peanuts IMO

No, don't drink the water. It will be all nasty and brown.
You have to soak them for 8-10 hours (overnight), so I put them in the fridge. Otherwise I think they might go bad. Also put a couple tablespoons of salt in the water.
