Optimum Nutrition 100% whey flavors

Has anyone tried Optimum Nutrition's Strawberry flavored 100% Whey? I have been using AST Sport Science's VP2 Vanilla and was looking for something different. Strawberry sounded good but I don't want to buy it if it tastes like crap.

it's not to bad, (from what I can remember) kinda smells like captain crunch crunchberries lol

it's been so long since I've had strawberry I really can't remember what it tastes like, I've been hooked on chocolate for over a year now, I suggest you buy a small amount at first to see if you like the taste

Never tried the Strawberry, but their Vanilla Ice Cream flavor is the best. IMHO

one thing i have learned is when it comes to peoples opinions on flavors of protien, every one is different! u got to try it for yourself, i have tried them all, i can tolerate their chocolate the best.

i agree with you ~Institutional~, many of my friends like vanilla flavor. I can't stand it. I prefere chocolate. Remember people, if you try a protein shake for the first time and think its nasty, maybe you should just try a different flavor.

Thanks for the replys. I agree that everyone is different when it comes to flavors. I prefer vanilla over chocolate. But also like strawberry, so I was just curious if it was decent as far as strawberry flavor goes. I guess I will just buy 5 lbs. and try it out. Thanks again for the replys.

I have been using the strawberry for about a month now and it tastes ok. The reason I got it was to mix it with Gatorade. I was using vanilla (which in my opinion tastes the best) but it doesn't mix very well with Gatorade. I mix the strawberry with Gatorade Fruit Punch flavor and it makes a good post workout shake.

They sell it in "2 lbs jugs" also for under 15.00 dollars, you might want to make your purchase in this size just to make sure you're going to like the flavor, just my 2 cents

The strawberry is very good. I just went through 20 pounds of it over the last several months. I'm using chocolate mint now, but I'll probably go back to strawberry in the future.

I didn't think, I thought the Choc Mint only came in the 5lb tubs...I'd like to know if I'm wrong though.

I just kicked back a Choc Mint/Flax shake...god they're good.

I mix 3 shakes a day (chocolate w/ flax, and DAMN! that is some good tasting sh*t!, I hav'nt tried the chocolate mint yet, I'm sure it's just as good

Well, even when I buy the 10-lb. bags, I still continually fill up a 5-lb. jug that I keep on hand. To me, the jug is easier to open and close. Those bags can be a pain.

I've found a place that sells two 5-lb. jugs for the same price as 10-lb. bags. PM me if interested (a member of this board works for the place).

yeah I do the same thing, by filling a 1.5 pound jug, works great

most large based distributers of optimum products sell the 2 pound jugs, you can buy it right here at BB.com, or if you want I can give you a link of another store...let me know

I bought a 2 lb. jug of Chocolate Mint and I couldn't even finish the jug it tasted so BAD!

I've stuck with only Chocolate because I've been too afraid of testing other flavors after the Choco Mint experience. I am interested in Strawberry tho...
