Is biking good or bad for your knees?

Title says it all... I have a bad knee and I'm wondering if biking will help it.

Biking is better than treadmill. If it affects you, you will know. I have no problems on anything but treadmill

Yes, it can be easier on the knees than running. However, in certain instances pedaling with high resistance can also place a high degree of stress on the knees and worsen certain knee conditions. In addition not situating the seat at the appropriate height, where the legs have a slight bent, can also contribute to more stress being placed on the knees.

Everythings going to affect the knee. Theres no such thing unless your gonna do rows without legs. Elipticals effect the knees, bike, tread, stairs. Only with elip you can use more upper body

If you didn't overdo it it'd probably help by getting more blood flowing to the area.
    Definitely 100x better than running.
