Fish has the healthiest fats. Beef has the good nutrients, some creatine(lol), and other good ****, and Chicken is pretty much the standard cheap but lean protein

Tuna might be one of the worst? I'm not sure, but I think it has very little fat. Still good though. Ground beef is good too

While disgusting, I think i've heard it's one of the best.

In the end though, you'll do best just varying up your sources of protein as much as possible

fish, chicken, beef, Pork(yes, pork), eggs, milk, etc

    salmon

salmon, tuna, mackerel, and sardines are probably up there with the healthiest fish. cold water fishes are rich in omega-3's which our bodies really need (but we rarely get enough of). if you don't like fish take the capsules, fish oil, or perhaps flax with your chkn and beef. i think that's a good omega-3 sub.

You've never had a tuna, chicken, roast beef, pork, egg, and milk sandwich?

But OP, I agree w/ Sibrek about varying protein sources, and I highly recommend Boar's Head roast beef for sandwiches, it's delicious. You can always stick some cheese on there too.

any .. just make sure u eat enough regardless...

it comes down to calories in vs calories out if you want to build muscle u have to give ur body energy and food..

any work just as well.. beef will give u more fat.. that you can also get from other fat sources.. chicken and fish will give u great protein.. just make sure u make up for ur fat with healthy EFA's

it comes down to calories.. the more calories and weight u are the easier it is to make it muscle

I have heard/read that red meat has "bulking proteins" and white meat has "lean" Proteins. I usually try and stick to red meat while bulking and white meat while cutting.

I dont know if there is any real science behind it, but it works ok for me.

The amino acid profile is much better with beef for sure, along with
lipid profiles, nutrient composition, minerals, CLA is better, endogenous antioxidants, natural creatine......So yeah, Id say you would definately get a higher quality profile in general with red meat.IMO

its probably cause you're eating like 10 chicken breasts a day and its got like 130 calories a piece while beef has 20 more or so, woopy doo just eat beef chicken is like generic protein it has nothing on fish beef or turkey in terms of micronutrient content

Im confused how anything you said has to do with them having two different types of proteins?

Oh well, just read the article if you want to know about proteins. If not, im sure you will do fine eating both, just thought I would share with the original poster since he asked which meat was best for bulking

Beef for the win - it's what's for dinner - every day

I'd rather be built like a steer than a chicken, LOL. (And you know the ol' saying that you are what you eat)!

Chicken is a better protein source.
Beef/Lamb are good but digest slower.
Fish (oily) tuna , sardines, mackrel and salmon are great sources of good fats, minerals and protein.
Try and balance Chicken, Eggs, fish, meat and don't forget the green veg..
