Ketones are toxic to brain and central nervous system function?

I just read this article, and it mentions that the presence of ketones in the bloodstream can be dangerous and even cause death over the long term.....Anyone know how true this is?

    Cool

Check out the thread Keto & Kidneys, there you'll find links to several articles on ketone bodies, their effects on your kidneys, liver and lots more.
