Anyone find it hard to do pull ups without support?

Ok normaly i can do pull ups without a problem.. However on my Chest/Back day pull ups come after i do my chest exercises.. my triceps get pretty worked out and i find it alot harder to do pull ups without the support of those weight things under your knees. (sorry dont know the name of teh machine)

    Anyone else like this?

....I don't really get that. Try the no-thumbs grip, and focus on getting the back to do it's work.

You can't do pull ups on normal days or after work outs? If its after work outs is my guess is that you're muscles are sore or over worked and if you can't do it normally than you're strength to body weight is low.

Bingo, if this is the exercise im thinking, it works your rear delts, which is a major muscle group in pull ups

It's probably more than that. Most likely you're just getting tired also. Your back muscles might not be tired, but you have probably used up most of your gylcogen by then. Try doing them early in your workout, they are one of the more taxing exercises

x2, do the tougher exercises first so you have the energy for it. You could probably do pullups without the support if you did'em as the first thing in your workout

Do it before you do it then! I always do and it's hard for you because your at muscle failure at the end of your workout probably.
