I feel like we should get all the skinny fat people (like me) who are desperately trying to lose that last piece of fat off their gut, in this big CLUB and share methods... how we did it, progress pics, motivational stuff... All that good advice in one thread.
From skinny fat to shredded and ripped, that's my quest... anybody wanna join?

Skinny fat isn't fun imo... I just noticed that I have almost no strength.
BTW, what is the best way to get out of the 'cutting' cycle? Because I'm getting tired of my gut... I'm gonna try carb cycling, I accidentally did it once and it really worked, so now I'm gonna do that and see how it works. If I can't get any results till mid november I'll start to clean bulk.. (don't wanna get fat but if it's the only way... )

So far so good... we got some members
Anybody could share their most efficient methods to get out of the skinny-fat cycle?
I think the psychological factor is that we, skinny fat people, want to loose ALL the fat, and than start bulking. We don't wanna bulk straight because we fear that we will gain weight [and for the endos that most of us are, that's the reality]. But loosing fat without much muscle mass and thus with an inneficient metabolism is pretty hard... So what's your solution?

My solution...well, i absolutely hated the idea of gaining fat just to gain LBM. ATM, all i cared about was losing the fat, not really how much muscle i had obtained, this coming from the 2nd strongest Offensive Linemen at my school lol. I had always loved strength, but when i "snapped", i didn't really care anymore. I hit my fat-loss plateau at around 14-16%, no matter how much cardio i did, the fat would simply not come off. It was nerving, even tantalizing in a way. The thought of bulking was blasphemy in my mind. Yet i knew the only way to get the abs that i longed for so much was to gain more LBM. I decided that i was going to prove the world wrong by gaining LBM and still cutting fat (or so i thought). So....
3 months later, after upping calories (bulking) and still continuing 5 days of cardio a week, i gained LBM back....along with a 2.7% gain in BF%.....I wasn't to happy lol. But, i cut again and eventually got back down. Come to think of it, my diet sucked. I was eating 6 bowls of Rasin Bran cereal (the once touted, healthy cereal thats 230 calories per 3/4 cup, and has 19g of sugar!), so without that cardio, i would have gained quite a bit more. I think i could have minimized the fat gain if i had proper nutrition at the time.
I wish i could, i have very FAT pictures, and Ripped pictures, but at the time i was skinny fat (155 lbs at 15ish BF%), i was so ashamed of my body that taking a picture of it was the last thing i was going to do.My Body has No Limits

Dude, that's EXACTLY where I am at, right now. 15-16% and it doesn't want to come off... The diet seems perfect, but I never seem to apply it 100% or when I do it for the week, I get no results, even with hardcore cardio I was doing in the past.
I have a vacation in 1 week, hopefully I'll have so much free time that I'll raid the gym in hopes of getting some results.

thanks, any suggestions for what i should pursue? i have been cutting for +2 months now and seem to be at a standstill with my weight and bf. (i am eating ~1800 calories, low carb: most of my carbs come from veggies with a small carb up on sat., i also do 20min of HIIT cardio 5-6 days a week.)
