Love it how he screams "**** off" at Parore after almost killing him haha.
This is the G.O.A.T "hit batsman" video though... still to this day remember watching this game live and thinking Alex Tudor, u dead brah? From the looks of the video it went straight through the gap between visor and grille, helmet absorbed literally none of the impact by the looks hahaha. Getting hit at that pace must be like jumping off a 20 story building and having your face break your fall lmao, poor bugger
Also, watch this, ****ing funny chit:

To be honest, the worst thing for Australia would be 5-0. No way would the older England players survive that, we would be forced to bring in the young talent we have and that is our best chance of moving forward and winning them back in 2015.
Should the older players perform and win a game, maybe two, they would get a stay of execution and stick around for awhile longer, delaying us moving forward.

Yeah the bowling is hard to judge, when they're constantly being let down by the batsmen and are behind in the game it's tough.
Pietersen probably has to go, it looks like the fight has gone. Trott probably won't be back, Carberry has done ok but age is against him and he's not the answer. Prior as you mentioned needs time off, Haddin went through that a few years ago and he came back so there's still hope.
There are good batsmen about. Chopra, Ali (who bowls good offspin), Borthwick is a leg spinner who has batted at 3 this season and scored 1,000 runs which is useful. There's Robson and Ballance too. Bairstow seems to be the one they want to keep wicket but i'm more of a Buttler fan.
Cook
Root
Robson
Bell
Balance
Ali
Stokes
Buttler
Broad
Finn
Mills
That's my team for the future. Great depth in batting, two spin options, two all rounders, players who can take the game away from the opposition in a session (something Pietersen used to do) and 4 bowlers who can bowl 90mph and over. Mills also gives you the left arm pace option.
With the way Test cricket is going, the balance and options those 11 bring is the way forward. There's still Cook, Root, Bell and Broad to give you the leadership and experience so it's a nice mix imo.

It will be interesting to see what England do in regards to some of their underperforming senior players, Pietersen in particular. Obviously it's easy to sit here behind a computer and make assumptions on what goes on inside his head, but it comes across as if he takes his spot in the side for granted and figures that he can get out doing stupid things with no consequence. It's tough, because on one hand he is England's best (albeit not most consistent) player; are Taylor/Robson/Ballance/etc. really going to perform any better? On the other hand, I'm sure those guys would be dying to get a go at international level.
I think it should really come down to a heart-to-heart between Cook and KP as to whether he really REALLY wants to play at that level, or would rather persue T20 opportunities.

Good to hear. Having talent is great, but character plays a big part in Test cricket. You never really know how players will handle it until you throw them in at the deep end, Stokes has always had the talent, but he's shown he has fight in him too. Some of the older players may have lost the desire they used to have.
Hopefully some of the younger players who hopefully come in over the next year see how Stokes stood up to Johnson in Adelaide and his performance on that horrific looking pitch where Harris was hitting the cracks, producing 88mph off cutters can come in and do the same.
There are good players out there, they just need the chance. Might aswell get them in now and have them come through together.

I've posted this before, but this was from almost 2 years back now:
I hope I get to do it again, it's hard to get a spot though.MISCINATI
